Job summary

Positron AI, based in Austin, TX, seeks an experienced ASIC Design Verification Engineer to lead the verification of our AI inference ASICs. You will develop and execute advanced verification methodologies, working closely with design, architecture, and software teams to validate our silicon solutions.

You will drive verification planning, create robust testbenches, and lead cross-functional efforts from pre-silicon validation through post-silicon bring-up.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of ASIC verification experience
• Expertise in SystemVerilog UVM and simulation tools
• Knowledge of verification planning and coverage-driven verification
• Experience with hardware-software co-verification
• Familiarity with formal verification techniques
• Understanding post-silicon validation and bring-up methodologies
• Proven track record verifying complex ASIC designs

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute verification strategies for AI inference ASICs
• Define and implement test plans and verification methodologies
• Lead development of verification environments using SystemVerilog UVM
• Create and maintain simulation testbenches and constrained-random tests
• Collaborate with design and architecture to ensure coverage and closure
• Drive debugging and root-cause analysis in pre- and post-silicon validation
• Coordinate with FPGA and emulation teams for early hardware validation
• Manage verification schedules, deliverables, and risk mitigation
