Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years or Master’s with 8+ years or PhD with 5+ years in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in package layout or advanced PCB/package implementation.
• Experience with high-speed routing, PDN, and package layout design principles.
• Experience with industry-standard EDA tools for package layout and design.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the San Jose package layout team with technical guidance and mentorship.
• Support package layout activities for complex ASIC packaging projects.
• Collaborate with package leads, SI/PI teams, floor planning and manufacturing partners.
• Coordinate layout resource allocation, priorities, and staffing across projects.
• Drive continuous improvement in layout methodologies, quality, and engineering efficiency.
• Contribute to hiring and onboarding of layout engineers in San Jose.
