Job summary

Lennar is seeking an Area Construction Manager to supervise daily multi-family construction operations. The role involves leading and coaching teams, coordinating trade partners, and ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery within budget.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of multi-family experience, strong knowledge of building codes, and proficiency with BuildPro, Hyphen, and Procore. On-site work required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred; High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant construction experience; 5+ years preferred for multi-family experience.
• Familiarity with building codes and trade partner coordination; ability to read and modify drawings and plans.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Construction Managers and manage construction activities across communities.
• Coordinate trade partners, materials, and equipment per schedule and budget.
• Ensure compliance with city/county codes and project specifications.
• Provide performance feedback to the Director of Construction and address warranty issues.
• Inspect sites for quality and safety; ensure on-time delivery of homes.
• Prepare and oversee RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
