As a Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Public Cloud Enablement and Adoption team in Corporate Technology, you will develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications on modern cloud-based technologies.

You are a visionary technologist passionate about shaping the future of cloud computing platforms. You will play a pivotal role in shaping, influencing, and governing our architecture function to support our multi-cloud platform and the "OneCloud" strategy, enabling hybrid multi-cloud and a consistent developer experience.

Job Responsibilities

1. Engage with technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future needs.
2. Define the technical target state of products and drive strategy achievement.
3. Participate in architecture governance bodies.
4. Lead and influence the strategic direction of our multi-cloud platform architecture, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
5. Collaborate with senior leaders to capture requirements and articulate architecture approaches and designs for platform implementation.
6. Translate complex technical issues, trends, and approaches for leadership to enable informed decision-making.
7. Work across teams to implement and advance the adoption of strategic global solutions enhancing our multi-cloud capabilities.
8. Drive adoption of cutting-edge technical methods in multi-cloud environments, aligned with latest development methodologies.
9. Establish and lead a data-driven architecture governance framework to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Certification in cloud computing (Google, AWS, or Azure).
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability in multi-cloud environments.
• Proven ability to design comprehensive cloud architectures supporting organizational growth.
• Deep knowledge of one or more: public cloud platforms, applications/systems architecture, and technology architecture.
• Expertise in cloud and systems architecture, including cloud computing, virtualization, or automation.
• Experience applying expertise and new methods to solve complex architecture problems in multi-cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cloud platform and infrastructure transformation.
• Experience in architecture governance of design and implementation.
• Experience with AI tools, LLM-assisted, and agentic workflows is highly desirable.
