Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Infrastructure Architect responsible for shaping and driving enterprise-wide infrastructure strategy and architecture decisions. The Lead Infrastructure Architect will engage with senior leadership, including SVPs, VPs, and C-level executives, to present strategies, articulate technical visions, and drive consensus on architecture decisions that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in infrastructure, multi-platform environments, and enterprise architecture, with a proven ability to lead high-visibility, transformative initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership & Vision: Define and drive the enterprise infrastructure strategy, ensuring scalability, resilience, and innovation across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
2. Enterprise Architecture: Design and deliver complex, multi-platform architectures, producing diagrams, documentation, and trend analyses to support decision-making and planning.
3. Solutions Architecture: Lead development of solutions architecture for large initiatives, ensuring scalable, cost-effective designs that meet business and technical needs.
4. Hybrid Cloud Expertise: Architect and optimize infrastructure across hybrid cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises systems, balancing performance, cost, and operational factors.
5. Executive Engagement: Present strategies, architectures, and recommendations to senior leadership, effectively communicating complex concepts and building consensus.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, operations, security, and business teams to ensure architecture aligns with organizational priorities.
7. Technical Mentorship: Provide leadership and guidance to architecture and engineering teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Required Qualifications:

1. Experience: 10+ years in infrastructure architecture, with at least 5 years in senior roles leading enterprise architecture initiatives in large organizations. Proven track record in delivering solutions for high-stakes, high-visibility projects.
2. Technical Skills: Deep expertise in multi-platform infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, security). Proficiency in hybrid cloud architecture and integration.
3. Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and storytelling skills for articulating strategies to C-level leaders. Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder influence, and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in high-scale industries (finance, healthcare, technology, retail).
2. Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalents.
