Job summary

GFF Design is seeking a seasoned Project Leader/Project Architect to guide the Mixed Use and Multifamily studio. You will lead design from concept to completion, coordinating architects, designers, engineers, and clients to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

The role requires 8+ years of architectural practice with a strong multifamily portfolio, proficiency in Revit and SketchUp, and a track record of leading high-value projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture or related field.
• 8+ years of professional architecture experience with project leadership.
• 5+ years in multifamily including wood-frame projects valued $50–$150M.
• Proficiency in Revit and SketchUp.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Strong leadership and team management.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulatory compliance.
• Ability to manage schedules and budgets across all design and construction phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design phases from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to client specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless project execution.
• Develop and present design proposals, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to stakeholders.
• Manage and mentor a team of architects promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Oversee the preparation of architectural documents and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Foster client relationships and ensure a high level of client satisfaction with project outcomes.
