GFF Design in Austin seeks a Senior Project Leader, Architect to guide complex commercial, multifamily and mixed-use projects from concept to closeout, collaborating with integrated teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Active Texas architectural license or reciprocity within six months.
• 15+ years of professional experience, including 8+ years leading commercial, multifamily, mixed-use projects.
• Demonstrated experience with high-density, complex urban infill projects.
• Advanced knowledge of building codes, accessibility, zoning, construction methods and detailing.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from design through closeout, aligning with client goals, design standards and code compliance.
• Manage budgets, schedules, resources and overall project delivery.
• Establish strong client relationships and serve as the primary technical contact.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across architecture, interiors, structural MEP and landscape.
• Guide teams through zoning, permitting, accessibility and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and edit project specifications to meet requirements and standards.
• Develop sustainability strategies and high-performance building practices.
• Mentor junior staff and foster team collaboration.
