Job summary

IPS-Integrated Project Services is seeking a Lead Architect for our architecture group in the United States. The role leads the technical discipline and manages day-to-day operations of staff, ensuring design intent and IPS quality throughout project delivery.

Responsibilities include coordinating with project managers, reviewing drawings for compliance, and guiding the team on GMP cleanroom integration, codes, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years architectural experience, 8+ in supervisory/management capacity.
• Bachelor’s Degree; B.Arch. with NAAB accreditation.
• Architectural registration is required.
• 8+ years of Life Sciences industry experience.
• Experience with GMP cleanroom design and integration with architectural systems.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural discipline and manage day-to-day operations of assigned staff.
• Ensure quality and compliance with IPS standards, codes, and guidelines.
• Oversee technical output and coordinate with Project Manager on scope, budget, and staffing.
• Develop and implement standards/tools to meet quality and performance expectations.
• Review drawings and manage construction administration activities including submittals and RFIs.
