Ghafari Associates, LLC is seeking a Senior Architect to lead design development and construction documentation on large projects. You will coordinate architecture with engineering and interiors teams, manage schedule and budget, and mentor staff.

Proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows is essential, with a strong background in production of technical drawings. Hybrid role with opportunities across industrial and federal projects, based in Dearborn/MI region.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering; Master’s preferred.
NCARB AXP completion required.
Licensing exams in progress preferred.
LEED Certification preferred.
WELL Building Certification preferred.

Responsabilités

Coordinate and run moderate to large, complex projects.
Establish the factual parameters of the design work (code, site restrictions, budget and schedule restraints).
Formulate the project work plan and lead execution of tasks.
Lead daily activities of the architectural project team and ensure quality of Construction Documents.
Provide mentorship to less experienced staff throughout the project.
Accurately produce schematic design, design development and construction documents.
Prepare addenda and bulletins related to architectural work.
Perform in-house construction administration duties: respond to RFIs, review shop drawings, issue bulletins.
