Job summary

Ghafari Associates in Michigan seeks a seasoned Architect to lead design development and construction document production on moderate-to-large projects. You will coordinate disciplines, mentor junior staff, and ensure schedule and budget targets are met under supervision from the Manager of Architecture.

Responsibilities include coordinating project teams, delivering schematic design through construction documents, and maintaining office standards using Revit and other BIM tools.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years related architecture experience.
• Licensing exams in progress preferred.
• LEED Certification preferred.
• WELL Building Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and run small to moderate scale projects with some complexity.
• Establish the factual parameters of the design work (code, site restrictions, budget, schedule); assist in presenting design documents.
• Formulate project work plan and mini-sheet sets; lead execution of tasks.
• Lead daily activities of the architectural project team and ensure quality of Construction Documents.
