Job summary

CRB in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Lead Architect to coordinate with internal and external teams, oversee complex design tasks, and ensure code compliance across large projects. The role demands deep experience in regulated or complex commercial/industrial construction and a track record of delivering constructible designs.

The position is onsite in Atlanta with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote) and mentoring responsibilities for teammates.

Qualifications

• Accredited architecture degree and valid professional license.
• Experience coordinating cross-discipline projects in AEC firms.
• Strong ability to develop complete Construction Documents for complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design across all phases from programming to construction administration.
• Develop studies, reports and presentations for internal/external audiences.
• Produce complex code analyses, life safety plans, floor plans and details for high‑complexity projects.
• Support construction activities, manage RFIs, submittals and progress reports.
• Perform quality checks and drive overall project quality.
• Resolve complex code/design challenges as Architect of Record
