Bartlett Tree Experts in Gaithersburg, MD seeks an Arborist Crew Leader to head a tree care crew and perform services safely and efficiently. The role offers a strong growth path, industry training, and a safety‑first work culture.

Responsibilities include supervising pruning, cabling, rigging, and removals, while ensuring high standards and client communication. Requirements include 3+ years in tree climbing and a valid driver’s license; a CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years of tree climbing experience (DdRT or SRT).
• Valid driver’s license (Class B CDL preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors year‑round in all weather conditions.
• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Safely performing and supervising all aspects of arboriculture, including pruning, cabling and bracing, rigging, removals.
• Bringing a cooperative and enthusiastic attitude to the job site.
• Supervising and managing crews while performing tree care services, as directed by the Arborist Representative and Local Manager.
• Ensuring crew members are trained appropriately for each designated job.
• Ensuring all tree care work meets industry and company standards.
• Communicating with clients and building relationships on site.
• Maintaining a passion for nature, the environment and the outdoors.
