Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts in Ashburn, VA is seeking an Arborist Crew Leader to guide a tree care crew and deliver safe, high-quality services. You will supervise on-site work, perform pruning, cabling, bracing, rigging, and removals, and ensure equipment is maintained.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of tree climbing and aerial lift experience, a valid driver's license, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. Bartlett offers training and advancement within a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR (Class B CDL preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented and self-motivated.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform and supervise all arboriculture tasks on site.
• Pruning, cabling and bracing, rigging, and removals.
• Maintain and operate hand tools, saws, chippers and aerial lifts.
• Provide coaching and training to crew members.
• Communicate with clients and coordinate work with the office.
