Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking an experienced Arborist Crew Leader to head a tree care crew and deliver safe, efficient services. You will mentor team members, supervise pruning, rigging, removals, and equipment operation while upholding high standards of safety and professionalism on every job site.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and a passion for trees, outdoors, and reliability in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• At least three years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience.
• Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Commitment to safety-first practices and high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform and supervise all arboriculture tasks.
• Pruning, cabling and bracing, rigging, and removals.
• Maintain and operate equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Supervise crews and ensure proper training for each job.
• Communicate with clients and build relationships on site.
• Ensure work complies with industry and company standards.
