Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking an Arborist Crew Leader in Annapolis, MD. You will lead a tree care crew, supervise all arboriculture tasks, and ensure safety, efficiency, and quality on every job.

Role requires climbing and aerial lift experience, a valid driver’s license, and a proactive, team-oriented approach. You will coordinate with the Arborist Representative and Local Manager to train and guide crew members.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of tree climbing experience (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience.
• Valid driver’s license; Class B CDL preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Safely performing and supervising all aspects of arboriculture including pruning, cabling/bracing, rigging, and removals.
• Properly maintaining and operating equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Bringing a cooperative and enthusiastic attitude to the job site.
• Supervising and managing crews while performing tree care services as directed by the Arborist Representative and Local Manager.
• Ensuring crew members are trained for each designated job and that work meets industry and company standards.
• Communicating with clients and building relationships.
