Bartlett Tree Experts in Waltham, MA is seeking an experienced Arborist Crew Leader to guide a tree-care crew and deliver safe, high-quality work.

You will supervise all arboriculture tasks, mentor team members, and ensure proper equipment handling. The role requires 3+ years of climbing experience and a valid driver's license, with opportunities for professional development and advancement within Bartlett.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of tree climbing experience (DdRT or SRT).
• Valid driver’s license (Class B CDL preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lead and supervise a crew on complex tree care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely performing and supervising all aspects of arboriculture, including pruning, cabling and bracing, rigging, removals, and operating equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Bringing a cooperative and enthusiastic attitude to the job site.
• Supervising and managing crews while performing tree care services as directed by the Arborist Representative and Local Manager.
• Ensuring crew members are trained appropriately for each job assignment and that work follows industry and company standards.
• Communicating with clients and building relationships while maintaining a passion for nature and the outdoors.
