Job summary

SentinelOne is seeking an experienced application security leader to guide Wayfinder Frontier AI Services engagements. You will review code across C, C++, Rust, and Java, translate security findings into actionable business impact, and mentor a growing team of AppSec engineers in a remote, distributed setting.

You will author and maintain SAST rules, collaborate with AI/ML engineers, and drive improvements to scanning pipelines while delivering client‑facing guidance and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in application security or product security with a strong software development background.
• Proven ability to translate complex findings into executive‑level debriefs.
• Experience delivering customer‑facing engagements end‑to‑end.
• Expert in at least two of C/C++, Rust, and Java with framework-level vulnerabilities knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, CWE Top 25, and modern authentication (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, JWT).
• Hands‑on experience authoring custom static‑analysis rules and working with AI‑assisted reviews.
• Strong threat modeling across the secure SDLC.
• Fluency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and release‑gate security controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead Wayfinder Frontier AI Services engagements end‑to‑end and present results to stakeholders.
• Review and triage findings from the code scanning pipeline across C/C++/Rust/Java.
• Conduct deep code reviews across major languages and frameworks.
• Translate technical risk into business impact for stakeholders.
• Author and maintain SAST rule packs and collaborate with AI/ML engineers.
• Provide remediation guidance and verify fixes with follow‑ups.
• Improve the agentic code scanning pipeline and reduce false positives.
• Mentor senior AppSec engineers and refine service methodologies.
