Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to architect and build automated security layers within the SDLC, focusing on AI-enabled secure code scanning and CI/CD security tooling in a large financial services program. You will work primarily in Python to create automated runbooks and provide code-level remediation guidance with minimal supervision.

Must have 5+ years of software engineering with AppSec/DevSecOps focus; strong Python, Java knowledge a plus, and experience with

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience, with focus on Application Security and DevSecOps.
Strong coding in Python for security automation and scripting.
Experience integrating SAST/DAST/SCA into CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Architect and deploy AI-enabled secure code scanning capabilities.
Automate secure coding patterns and integrate into SDLC workflows.
Integrate continuous security scanning tools into enterprise CI/CD pipelines and tune to reduce noise.
Read and review complex Java/Python code to provide remediation guidance.
