Lead Applied Value Engineer for the High Tech vertical at Celonis, a leader in Enterprise AI industrialization, is responsible for solving complex business challenges for key clients. This role involves partnering with strategic customers to address issues such as supply chain resilience, trade promotion optimization, and inventory shrink reduction by integrating the Celonis Process Intelligence platform with AI/ML technologies from partners like Microsoft, OpenAI, and Databricks. The engineer will prototype solutions, demonstrate value to executives, and ensure successful implementation and adoption across global retail and consumer ecosystems.

Key responsibilities include driving AI discovery and solutioning, managing the full customer lifecycle from pre-sales to post-sales execution, leading hackathons and prototyping, enabling agentic process transformation, architecting proof-of-value projects, and providing domain leadership in High Tech. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in technical pre-sales and post-sales engagements within the High Tech sector, with expertise in inventory management, supply chain, and trade promotion. Strong skills in Python, ML libraries, and data engineering tools are required, along with excellent communication abilities. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a Master’s preferred. Experience with agentic systems, LLMs, cloud platforms, and GenAI techniques is a plus. The base salary range for this New York-based role is $196,000–$230,000 USD.
