Job summary

Entegris is seeking a Lead Applications Engineer specializing in Silicon Carbide Materials to join their Decatur, Texas team. The chosen candidate will oversee the development and validation of materials in wide bandgap transistor processing, collaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure successful integration of these technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree or extensive experience in relevant fields, with strong project management skills and communication abilities. Exceptional benefits and a values-driven culture are part of the offer.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with at least 3 years of experience or Bachelor's with at least 5 years.
• 3+ years of Project Management experience preferred.
• Ability for occasional travel globally.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to understand needs and requirements.
• Collaborate with R&D on materials development.
• Characterize different material grades in application environments.
• Manage development schedules and timelines.

Skills

Materials understanding

Applications knowledge in wide bandgap semiconductor processing

Experience with DOE methodologies/tools

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Experience in FEA modeling

Excellent communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Analytical skills

Education

Master’s degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
