Job summary

Seven Seas Water Group is seeking an Applications Engineer to lead the technical pursuit of industrial Water-as-a-Service projects. You will design flowsheets, perform mass balances, and build PFDs to support binding proposals and long-term contracts.

You'll work with sales, origination and plant managers, providing the technical credibility needed to win deals, price from first principles, and guide suppliers through bid evaluations. Hybrid role in Tampa or Houston with 20–30% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years in industrial water and wastewater treatment in applications/process/ proposal engineering.
• Direct experience with industrial clients and their waste streams.
• Knowledge of major unit operations: MBR/SBR/MBBR, DAF, UF/RO, AOP/UV, PFAS, dewatering.
• Working supplier network across these technologies.

Responsibilities

• Translate influent and effluent requirements into a complete flowsheet and design basis.
• Develop PFD and equipment list and sizing, pricing from ground up.
• Prepare capital estimates and operating cost estimates for iWaaS contracts.
• Lead supplier evaluations and negotiate performance guarantees.
• Present technical content to customers and internal teams.
