AtlantiCare is seeking a Lead Advanced Practice Provider in Mays Landing, NJ to support Primary Care operations and ensure high-quality patient care across all locations. Job description

Coastal Southeast New Jersey: The Primary Care Lead Advanced Practice Provider supports Primary Care operations, ensures adherence to processes, and promotes high quality patient care across all AtlantiCare locations.

Responsibilities

• Assists with recruitment, orientation, continuous education, and annual evaluations of advanced practice providers at all Primary Care sites.
• Organizes and oversees the APP chart review process and conducts periodic chart reviews.
• Collaborates with the Chief Medical Officer to address advanced practice provider performance, including review of patient complaints.
• Fosters a positive group culture, ensuring efficient and patient‑friendly care.
• Manages 60 hours clinical time and 20 hours administrative time per pay period.

Qualifications

• Education: MA in Nursing from an accredited school (or grandfathered by NJ Law) for APNs; Bachelor’s in a physical science and completion of an accredited PA program for PAs.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN/APN license in New Jersey (or multi‑state license) with specialty certification; or PA certification by the National Commission and NJ State Board. BLSHCP required. Geriatric or Palliative Care certification preferred for APNs.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in business operations/environment, excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills. Ability to manage multiple projects.

Reporting Relationship

The Lead APP reports to the Primary Care Chief Medical Officer and collaborates with the Assistant Vice President for Primary Care and practice leadership.
