Job summary

Orion is seeking a Manager of the API Platform team to lead a group of API Client Support Consultants. You will work with Product and Engineering to define API capabilities, set standards for secure, reliable integrations, and guide prioritization based on partner feedback.

Hybrid role requiring on-site presence three days per week at a designated office location. You will manage, coach, and develop the team, and serve as the technical liaison for key partners, ensuring Orion APIs meet customer

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience in a related field or role.
• Experience leading API-focused teams and projects.
• Strong understanding of API security concepts (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS, OIDC).
• Proven ability to design and operate RESTful APIs at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, coach, and develop a team of API Client Support Consultants.
• Set and maintain standards for how Orion builds and exposes APIs.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on API capabilities and roadmap priorities.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for strategic integration partners.
• Gather and communicate customer feedback to support product prioritization.
• Track API adoption, usage, performance, and partner satisfaction.
