Orion is seeking a Manager of the API Platform team to lead a group of API Client Support Consultants, establishing standards for API design and secure, reliable integrations for partners and clients.

You will partner with Product and Engineering on capabilities and roadmap priorities, and oversee vendor tooling for the API gateway and developer portal, ensuring strong API adoption and partner satisfaction across the organization.

Qualifications

• Lead API Platform team with strong coaching and performance management.
• 5+ years of experience in API design, delivery, or management.
• Experience with API gateways and secure integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, coach, and develop a team of API Client Support Consultants.
• Set standards for how Orion builds and exposes APIs for secure, reliable integrations.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on API capabilities and roadmap priorities.
• Serve as technical point of contact for strategic integration partners.
• Gather and communicate customer feedback to support prioritization.
• Track API adoption, usage, and partner satisfaction to leadership.
• Manage vendor tooling for API gateway, developer portal, and observability.
• Guide clients and partners to integrate with Orion APIs securely and efficiently.
