Bender Companies in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at one of our communities. This on-site, hands-on role focuses on delivering high-quality service to residents while preserving asset value.

You will oversee service requests, unit turns, and preventative maintenance, working closely with the Property Manager to meet goals. 2–3 years in residential maintenance and leadership, plus strong communication, are required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in residential maintenance with leadership or supervisory exposure.
• Ability to motivate and develop a maintenance team.
• Strong communication with residents, vendors, and teammates.
• Ability to balance daily tasks with long-term maintenance planning.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all property maintenance operations and daily workflow.
• Manage service requests, unit turnovers, and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain vendor relationships and procurement of supplies.
• Ensure safety standards and building codes compliance.
• Coordinate with Property Manager to meet goals and optimize processes.
