Bender Companies is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Supervisor for a St. Charles community. This on-site role requires hands-on leadership to supervise maintenance, manage service requests, and coordinate unit turnovers with vendors while maintaining resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of residential maintenance experience with supervisory responsibilities and strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry maintenance. On-site work at the property is required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in residential maintenance with supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and ability to develop team members.
• Excellent communication with residents, vendors, team members.
• Familiar with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all maintenance operations at the property.
• Manage service requests, unit turnovers, and preventative maintenance.
• Oversee vendor relationships and daily maintenance team workflow.
• Coordinate with the Property Manager to meet goals and ensure safety compliance.
• Create daily action plans to maximize productivity and prioritize tasks.
• Coordinate unit turns with vendors for timely readiness.
• Ensure timely completion of service requests and work orders.
• Maintain records of activities, supplies, and vendors.
• Deliver notices to residents and participate in after-hours on-call.
