Job summary

Netflix is seeking a Lead Animator in Salt Lake City to drive character motion and storytelling within Unreal Engine. You will lead a team, define animation pipelines, and collaborate with engineers, designers, and the Art Director to deliver cinematic action gameplay experiences.

The role requires a track record in senior animator positions, strong leadership, and a passion for action games. Portfolio samples are required for assessment and the position is on-site at our Salt Lake City studio.

Responsibilities

• Expand character identity and expression through posing, timing, and appearance.
• Create animation loops and sets from the story, script, or narrative design.
• Collaborate with tech art, engineers, and designers in generating creative animation solutions.
• Help establish the animation pipeline.
• Record and create individual animation bibles for the dev team to reference.
