Job summary

Saint Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Anesthesia Technician Lead to provide critical support in the safe administration of anesthesia, assisting providers with equipment and supplies for diverse surgical and non-surgical cases.

You will prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment, supplies, and medications before, during, and after cases, and oversee inventory, room turnover, and patient transport.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years related experience.
• High School Graduate or GED.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations including scheduling, staffing, evaluating and orientation of anesthesia technicians.
• Calibrates and troubleshoots anesthesia equipment; cleans and maintains equipment.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality in line with regulatory requirements.
• Ensures compliance with hospital policies and procedures and HR guidelines.
