Job summary

Speechify is seeking a Senior Team Lead to own core product work and shape how the team operates. This is a hands-on role requiring coding, code review, and ownership of features from inception to release. You will drive reliability, mentor teammates, and ensure fast, correct delivery in a fully remote, globally distributed environment.

Responsibilities

• Own major features end to end, from decision through to release with design input.
• Maintain and improve reliability metrics for key features.
• Review pull requests and provide constructive feedback, not just approvals.
• Unblock the team when someone is stuck and investigate blockers.
• Identify when a component should be adopted by the whole team and drive the change.
• Keep shared code in good shape, well tested and easy to hand off.
• Push for changes in processes when the team is ready rather than waiting for formal moves.
• Reduce manual steps to achieve a correct and reliable release.
• Address recurring problems by changing the underlying setup to prevent repeats.
