Speechify is seeking a Team Lead for its Android app to own core product work and influence how the team operates. This is a hands-on role where you'll write code, review code, and own features from decision through release.

You'll focus on reliability, feedback on pull requests, and removing blockers to keep a fast, quality release cadence. Speechify runs a fully remote, globally distributed engineering organization that values strong communication and fast delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own major features end to end, from design to release.
• Maintain and improve reliability metrics for key features.
• Review pull requests and provide constructive feedback.
• Unblock the team when blockers appear and take initiative.
• Coordinate versioning and shared components for consistency.
• Shift verification left by increasing automated checks.
• Ensure the team’s time is spent on high-impact work.
