Job summary

Speechify is seeking a hands-on Team Lead to own core product work for our mobile and web stack in a fully remote, distributed team. You’ll write code, review PRs, and drive feature delivery from concept to release, balancing speed with quality.

You’ll unblock teammates, refine reliability metrics, consolidate shared components, and push data-driven improvements. This leadership role requires strong communication, mentorship, and a track record shipping production-grade software.

Responsibilities

• Own major features end to end, from design through release.
• Own, maintain, and improve reliability metrics for key features.
• Review pull requests and give constructive feedback.
• Unblock the team when progress stalls.
• Promote the version that the team uses and drive changes.
• Keep shared code in good shape and consolidate duplicates.
• Call it when the team is ready to change how it works.
• Reduce manual intervention to achieve a correct release.
• Shift verification left to enable more automated checks.
