Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College in Indianapolis and Plainfield is seeking a full-time Anatomy & Physiology Faculty member to coordinate courses, mentor adjuncts, and manage lab support for a large APHY program.

Qualifications

• Master's in biology or related field from regionally accredited institution.
• 18 graduate hours in biology-related courses.
• Higher education teaching experience preferred.
• Willingness to teach at Indianapolis and Plainfield campuses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned anatomy and physiology classes using effective pedagogy and appropriate tech.
• Develop syllabi, lesson plans, assessments, and course materials.
• Maintain student records, attendance, grades and classroom lab safety.
• Mentor adjunct faculty and coordinate anatomy courses with the lab team.
• Promote student engagement, retention and success through advising and interventions.
• Support program management, curriculum development and accreditation tasks.
