Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is seeking a full-time Anatomy & Physiology faculty member to teach in Indianapolis and Plainfield. The role coordinates the anatomy course, mentors adjuncts, and collaborates with a lab technician team to meet growing APHY demand across multiple sections.

The successful candidate will have a master's degree in biology or related field (or equivalent with biology coursework) and a commitment to student success, including advising and retention efforts.

Qualifications

• Master's or higher in biology or related field, or Master’s with 18 grad hours in biology.
• Experience teaching in higher education preferred.
• Commitment to student success and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned anatomy & physiology classes using effective pedagogy and technology.
• Coordinate the anatomy course and mentor adjunct faculty.
• Maintain course materials, records, and compliance with policies.
• Oversee lab safety, equipment, and inventory; ensure quality labs.
• Engage in program planning, advising, and student recruitment initiatives.
