Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to teach Anatomy and Physiology and support student learning toward their goals. You will deliver classes, use technology, and maintain accurate records in alignment with syllabi and college objectives.

The role requires a master's or higher in biology or a related field, or 18 graduate hours in biology, and a commitment to FERPA and professional standards. Part-time employment with benefits for eligible staff is offered.

Qualifications

• Earned master's or higher degree in a biological science or related field.
• 18 graduate semester hours in biology-related courses.
• Strong knowledge of current instructional technology and FERPA.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned anatomy and physiology classes in line with college policies and objectives.
• Utilize technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Develop and maintain syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and records.
• Engage with students to foster a positive learning experience and provide interventions as needed.
• Monitor student performance and communicate with students and advisors.
• Ensure confidentiality and professional conduct per policy and FERPA.
