Job summary

Cambrex in High Point, NC is seeking a skilled Analytical Chemist to develop and optimize methods for intermediates and final products. You will maintain notebooks, write procedures, and support QC and process development with GC/MS and LC/MS expertise.

With a PhD or MS in chemistry and several years in a lab, you will lead investigations, train colleagues, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory guidance as part of a fast-paced global CDMO team.

Qualifications

• PhD or related field with 2+ years in a laboratory setting.
• Strong GMP/regulatory knowledge and ability to advise on regulatory strategies.
• Solid analytical chemistry understanding with practical lab experience and instrumentation expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize analytical methods for intermediates and final product.
• Maintain notebook and data entries; write procedures, protocols and reports.
• Perform laboratory investigations.
• Lead laboratory investigations for Analytical and QC with support.
• Train and mentor laboratory colleagues.
• Maintain equipment and calibrations; manage hazardous materials and waste handling.
