Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson is seeking an experienced Analytical Method Development Chemist to lead the development and implementation of industry standards and novel test methods for the Electronics/Specialty Gas Division Analytical Laboratory. This role may manage analytical chemists in production and R&D while supporting routine and non-routine testing for quality, R&D, and other business units.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or related field with 10+ years or MS/PhD with 5+ years of analytical/method development experience.
• Experience developing test methods using multiple listed instruments.
• Ability to combine instruments to lower detection limits or increase selectivity.

Responsibilities

• Develop new analytical methods for specialty/electronic gases and mixtures.
• Combine techniques to improve sensitivity and selectivity of analytes.
• Ensure methods meet customer, safety, and industry standards.
• Provide customer-facing support for new and existing methods and data.
