Job summary

Ledgent Technology in Houston, TX is seeking an Analyst or Lead Analyst to support technology infrastructure initiatives across a complex commercial real estate portfolio. You will evaluate, deploy, support, and optimize technology solutions for properties, new developments, acquisitions, and operational facilities.

The role blends hands-on OT and enterprise networking with project coordination and vendor management.

Qualifications

3–10+ years in infrastructure, OT, smart building tech
Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Engineering or related field
Experience in CRE, prop tech, building ops or multi-site environments
Strong knowledge of BAS/BMS, CCTV, access control, managed Wi‑Fi
Hands-on enterprise networking: switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs

Responsibilities

Support infrastructure deployments across CRE properties including acquisitions and new developments.
Assess building technologies and recommend infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity improvements.
Deploy and troubleshoot enterprise networking (switching, routing, wireless, firewalls, VPNs).
Support OT environments (BAS/BMS, access control, CCTV, smart building tech).
Coordinate with vendors, construction teams, engineering groups, and property teams.
Assist with OT/IT cybersecurity initiatives: segmentation, remote access, hardening.
Review drawings and infrastructure standards.
Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and document tech work.
Travel to properties to support implementations and upgrades.
Serve as a tech resource balancing hands-on work with project and vendor mgmt.
