Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5–8+ years in grid flexibility, DERs, NWAs, or related areas.
  • Experience in market design, regulatory policy, or stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven program or project management and go-to-market execution.
  • Experience collaborating with utilities, DER developers, and market participants.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Understanding of Massachusetts regulatory frameworks and clean energy landscape preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver strategy for grid flexibility and DER market development in Massachusetts.
  • Lead design and scaling of grid flexibility offerings, procurement approaches, commercial frameworks, and go-to-market models.
  • Represent National Grid with DER developers, aggregators, and market participants.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Customer, Marketing, Legal, IT to support go-to-market activities.
  • Define future-state requirements for flexibility markets and prioritize enabling technologies.
  • Monitor market performance and prepare materials for leadership and regulators.
  • Represent National Grid at industry forums, stakeholder engagement, conferences, regulatory proceedings, and other market development activities.
