CENTRAL MAINE POWER CO is seeking a Lead Analyst for Non Wires Alternatives (NWA) to support DER program analysis in Maine and New York. The role focuses on resource coordination, benefit-cost assessments, and regulatory interactions to advance NWA and NTA projects.

The position requires strong quantitative skills, DER knowledge, and experience in complex program implementations. It offers in-office work in Portland, ME with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years relevant experience preferred.
• Associates degree with 5+ years relevant experience required.
• Experience supporting the implementation of complex initiatives.
• Strong analytical focus with experience in benefit cost modeling.
• Understanding of Distributed Energy Resource planning, performance measurement and verification, and system impact.
• Understanding of utility operations and positive customer interactions.
• Ability to work within a matrix environment with geographically dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee NTA resources and manage quarterly performance review meetings.
• Manage resource payments and contribute to regulatory responses.
• Primary contact with NTA Coordinator and resources.
• Perform Benefit Cost Analysis for potential NWA and NTA projects in NY and ME.
• Support development of NY BCA Handbook and IS Planning analyses.
• Provide analytical and business case support to NWA and Distribution Planning groups.
• Support NWA procurement activities and EM&V requirements.
• Liaise with state and federal regulatory agencies as needed.
• Produce briefings and status reports for executives and regulators.
