Job summary

UChicago Medicine seeks an Ambulatory Nursing Supervisor for the OBGYN team at DCAM - Hyde Park, a 100% onsite role based in the greater Chicagoland area. You will provide clinical leadership and supervise nursing and clinical staff across the clinic, coordinating patient flow and ensuring prompt, accurate Epic documentation and patient care escalation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required.
• Five or more years of nursing experience with at least two years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
• Active Illinois RN license and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides unified clinical leadership and direct supervisory oversight of nursing and clinical staff across the clinic.
• Monitors patient flow and ensures accurate triage and documentation in Epic.
• Collaborates with physicians and advanced practice providers on patient care and safety.
• Oversees training, onboarding, and competency assessments for staff across 16+ specialty areas.
• Ensures compliance with Joint Commission standards and annual competency requirements.
