Job summary

UChicago Medicine River East in Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Endocrinology & OBGYN teams. This is a 100% onsite opportunity in the greater Chicagoland area.

You will provide professional nursing care including assessment, planning and collaboration with physicians. Work in a community-based physician practice.

Day shifts Mon-Fri with 7/7:30am-4pm or 7/7:30am-6pm on 10s; strong emphasis on patient confidentiality and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license
• BLS certification from AHA
• Minimum of 1 year professional nursing experience
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care including assessment, treatment, and care planning
• Assist physicians and coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families about health status and management of conditions
• Document data using medical records and systems
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes

Skills

Licensed RN

BLS Certification

1 year nursing experience

Education

Nursing training (accredited school)

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
