Job summary

Savanta is seeking a Senior Survey Programmer to join our Americas Operations team. You will lead complex online questionnaires, manage multi-language scripting, and ensure high-quality results. You’ll collaborate with Project Managers and Research Teams to deliver on-time, client-focused outcomes.

The role requires strong Alchemer (Survey Gizmo) experience, JavaScript proficiency, and a track record of mentoring others in a fast-paced environment. Remote-friendly in the US.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience programming in Alchemer (Survey Gizmo), Confirmit, Decipher, or a similar survey scripting platform.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery, with advanced knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects to on-time delivery.
• Experience training or mentoring other programmers.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels globally.
• Exceptional attention to detail and an analytical, solutions-focused mindset.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing business.

Responsibilities

• Program complex online questionnaires, including survey scripting, multi-language management, and reporting.
• Take full ownership of high-complexity programming projects from end to end, with a consultative approach to client setup and builds.
• Work collaboratively with Project Managers and the Research Team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, upholding rigorous quality control and Savanta's 'Right First Time' standard.
• Support, mentor, and train other programmers, sharing best practice across the team.
• Contribute technical insight to client meetings, new business calls, and project budget management.
• Help drive new tools and process improvements across the programming workflow.
