Job summary

Join Bombardier as a Lead Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Technician at our Opa Locka Service Center. You'll be responsible for complex aircraft repairs, service orders, and training support.     How to thrive in this role?
    • Typically, a minimum of5 yearsaircraft maintenance work experience or substantiated equivalent experience
    • Typically, a minimum of 1 year corporate / commercial jet experience
    • Current, and valid, FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P)Certificate
    • Basic PC skills
    • Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
    • Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status
    • Own Basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory & control of tools
    • Must obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required
    • Ability to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled workdays and holidays
    • Ability to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside
    • Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA)
