Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Lead Airframe and Powerplant Technician to join their team at the Opa Locka Service Center. In this role, you will perform aircraft repairs, assist in service order creation, and train other employees.     How to thrive in this role?
    • Typically, a minimum of5 yearsaircraft maintenance work experience or substantiated equivalent experience
    • Typically, a minimum of 1 year corporate / commercial jet experience
    • Current, and valid, FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P)Certificate
    • Basic PC skills
    • Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
    • Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status
    • Own Basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory & control of tools
    • Must obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required
    • Ability to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled workdays and holidays
    • Ability to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside
    • Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA)
