Job summary

Global MX in Allentown, PA is seeking a Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician. You will oversee and perform maintenance, inspections, and alterations on complex jet systems, lead a team of technicians, and coordinate with the Maintenance Manager to ensure timely, quality project execution.

The ideal candidate holds an FAA A&P license with 3–5 years in jet maintenance, can troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, and will maintain logs per 14 CFR Part 43.

Qualifications

• Current FAA A&P license with no infractions.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience on complex jet aircraft.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems with minimal supervision.
• Must reside near Allentown, PA and be able to pass background/drug tests.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance, inspection, repair, and alteration tasks.
• Lead and supervise technicians, ensuring schedules, on-time delivery, and quality.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Manager, assist in project management and pricing.
• Maintain maintenance logs and work orders per 14 CFR Part 43.
• Ensure shop facility, equipment, and tooling upkeep.
• Coordinate training and development of team members.
• Maintain highest level of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
