Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Falcon Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Chattanooga, TN to head a skilled team in a fast-paced hangar environment.

You will supervise technicians, manage multiple projects, and ensure high-quality mechanical work on aircraft and related systems in compliance with FAA guidelines. The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license, with 8+ years in aviation maintenance and 4+ years in program-specific

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Airframe and Powerplant License is required.
• 8+ years in aviation maintenance preferred.
• 4+ years in program-specific airframes.
• This position requires minimal supervision and will lead small groups in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to complete the necessary jobs/tasks with good judgement in day-to-day tasks.
• Implement a strong turnover of work to the next shift.
• Look for opportunities to reduce turn time of aircraft.
• Help to train/mentor technicians on projects.
• Supervise team members in daily workload.
• Work independently on projects and lead multiple projects.
• Perform general mechanical functions on aircraft and related systems.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate systems on the aircraft when designated.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components when designated.
