Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a Senior Planner supervisor to lead the Planning Team within Integrated Operations. You will guide Planners, define department goals, and coordinate with Maintenance, Material Planning, and other technical operations to ensure an executable bill of work while considering out-of-service items and workload forecasts.

This role requires aBachelor’s degree and several years in aircraft maintenance planning, with strong leadership and problem-solving skills to manage

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience/training.
• 3 years experience in Aircraft Maintenance Planning environment.
• 3 years experience in Aircraft Operational environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, direction, and development to the Planner.
• Assists with defining strategy, goals, and objectives for the department.
• Ensures planners determine the most effective actions for serviceability and airworthiness.
• Manages employee schedules, sick/vacation time, overtime and OSHA reports.
• Administers the Collective Bargaining Agreement and promotes teamwork.
