Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a Supervisor within the Line Maintenance Team of the Integrated Operations Division. You will oversee aircraft maintenance technicians, guide crews, and ensure timely return to service in a safe, compliant manner.

You will manage workload, coordinate with airport authorities and vendors, and identify training needs to develop AMTs. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate required.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in business or technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide and direct aircraft maintenance through crew chiefs and leads.
• Oversee implementation of plans, processes, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure crews are efficiently utilized to meet workload and objectives.
• Maintain effective communication with airport management, FAA, TSA, and vendors.
• Identify training needs and provide coaching for AMTs within span of control.
