Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Aircraft Line Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at Upington airport. You will oversee daily line maintenance operations, ensure airworthiness and safety standards, and manage a crew of technicians in a fast-paced, regulatory environment.

The ideal candidate holds an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license or equivalent, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, strong knowledge of aircraft systems, and proven leadership,

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct a team of aircraft maintenance technicians performing line maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and approved data.
• Coordinate scheduling and allocation of resources to meet operational demands and minimize delays.
• Perform quality checks and audits on maintenance work performed by the team.
• Troubleshoot and provide technical guidance for complex aircraft issues encountered during line maintenance.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and consumables for line maintenance operations.
• Foster a safe and efficient working environment, promoting adherence to safety procedures.
