Jerry.ai is hiring to own the AI systems layer of a consumer product used by millions. You will shape the next bets in AI, partnering with OpenAI to deploy voice models and automate workflows.

This role requires turning ambiguous problems into robust, scalable systems and hands-on production experience with LLM-based solutions. You’ll work directly with founders and execs in a fully remote setup with offices in multiple cities, building the core tech that underpins a fast-growing AI-enabled

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a product engineering or forward deployed engineering, ideally in an early stage startup.
• Track record of turning ambiguous problems into systems that actually run.
• Hands-on experience putting LLM-based systems into production, including evals, latency, cost, and failure handling.

Responsibilities

• Decide what we build next in AI, and make the case for it.
• Partner with OpenAI to evaluate and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation.
• Evaluate emerging AI tech (voicebot, agents) and prototype what's worth building.
• Design evaluation frameworks and guardrails, balancing latency, cost, and accuracy in production.
• Set the technical bar for chatbot systems and guide the prompt engineering team.
• Build new automations across areas like record disputes, email/callout reduction, document validation.
• Work directly with subject matter experts to turn domain knowledge into reliable systems.
